Great Dane Puppy shipping information.
We ship our puppies by using Continental Airline Pet Safe Service.
It will cost $300 to ship an 8 week old puppy to all most anywhere in the USA.
The $280 will pay for the crate to ship the puppy in (which is yours to keep), all of the accessories needed to ship the puppy, the airline ticket, and a health certificate issued by a vet stating that the puppy is in good health at the time of shipment. The health certificate is required by the Airline.
The airline will not ship a puppy until it is 8 weeks old.
Puppies who are over 10 to 11 weeks of age may cost an additional $80 to $100 to ship. The reason for this is because once a puppy and the crate weighs over 50 pounds the airline charges more to ship, plus by the time they puppy is that old they are needing a larger crate.
If you are interested in a puppy but would need to have it shipped call or E-mail me to find out if Continental will ship to you! E-mail me either the town and state you live in or your zip code.

Additional Info
We get every puppy, that will be shipped, used to the crates prior to shipping. We leave a crate in their bedding area from the time they are about 5 weeks old until the time the leave here. We also put them in the crate they will be shipped in for about an hour once to twice everyday. This way they will be used to their crate and it will be a lot less stressful to them when it comes time to ship. We also put a hoof that they are used to in the crate for the to chew on during the flight. The towel that we give them to lay on during the flight is rubbed on their mother and siblings before we put it into the crate. This way they will have a familiar sent that will also help to comfort them during their flight.
Alaska
We can ship to Alaska! However, the only destination that we can ship to is Anchorage. Depending on the time of year the airline might charge an additional $75 to kennel the puppy if is flight is very long. Contact me to find out if there will be a charge.
Hawaii
We cannot ship to Hawaii. The reason being is that when dogs that are not old enough to get their rabies shot are shipped into Hawaii they have to be put in quarantine, and can be in quarantine for as long as three week to six months. I will not put one of my puppies through that. I am sorry. If you know of another option or some way to get around these regulations please contact me and let me know.
Canada
We can ship to Canada! However, there are a limited amount of destination that Continental will ship to in Canada. Additional fees include a Trans Boarder Fee that you will pay when you pick the puppy up, I believe it is around $40 to $50 dollars, and I think you also have to pay some type of tax on the puppy as well. You may need to contact the airport for more information on what tax fees there are. There is also the possibility of a $75 kenneling fee if the puppy should have a long flight (contact me to find out if there would be one). I have only shipped to Canada one time and the lady had to drive about 8 hours one way to pick up her puppy, so be prepared for the possibility of a long drive. If you live close enough to the border and would be willing to drive down to pick up your puppy in the US that is also an option.
Outside of the U.S. and Canada
I am sorry but we do not ship anywhere else but Canada and the U.S. Many of the flights to other countries are too long and the puppies have to be quarantined, there for I feel it is to stressful on the puppies to ship elsewhere. I apologize for this. Although, if you know something about shipping puppies from the U.S. to your country and are able to find a flight that is not to long and know some way to get around a long quarantine then please feel free to contact me I am always willing to work with you, as long as I feel it is safe for the puppy.
